Overview Join our dynamic transportation team as a Truck Driver and become a vital part of delivering essential freight across diverse routes! In this role, you will operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise will help keep goods moving efficiently while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated drivers eager to showcase their skills in over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and logistics cargo handling. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and execute efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules across OTR routes Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper cargo securing for hazardous materials or dangerous goods when applicable Transport various types of freight such as refrigerated goods, hazardous materials (hazmat), automobile transportation, or general freight with precision and care Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route adjustments or address delivery issues promptly Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in various environments Familiarity with refrigerated trailer operations, flatbed hauling, tanker transport, and hazardous materials handling Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking Ability to manually load and unload cargo safely while adhering to logistics cargo handling standards Skilled in operating trucks with manual transmission and tractor-trailer configurations Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with over-the-road (OTR) driving routes preferred Capable of complying with all safety standards related to truck loading/unloading and transportation of freight Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact! $2,100.00 - $2,600.00 per week
