Job Description
Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking an Oil Sales and Service Representative I to support used oil recycling and environmental services customers in the Utilities & Energy sector. In this field-based role, you will service existing accounts, deliver and pick up used oil and related products, operate company vehicles safely, and promote additional services that support sustainable waste management. You'll complete required documentation, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, and maintain equipment. The position offers structured training, advancement opportunities, and the chance to contribute directly to environmental sustainability. Responsibilities Service and grow a route of industrial and commercial oil recycling customers Pick up used oil and deliver related products using company vehicles Promote and upsell Safety-Kleen environmental and recycling services Ensure full compliance with safety, DOT, and environmental regulations Complete service tickets, manifests, and route documentation accurately Inspect, maintain, and safely operate hoses, pumps, and related equipment Communicate with dispatch and sales teams on scheduling and customer needs Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic service issues Required Skills Route sales and customer relationship management Basic mechanical aptitude with hoses, pumps, and tanks Safe truck driving and defensive driving practices Knowledge of oil recycling or environmental services (preferred) DOT and OSHA safety compliance Load securement and material handling Documentation and manifest completion Upselling and cross-selling services Time management and route planning Basic computer or mobile routing applications
