Job Description
Looking for Class A Drivers to haul van trailers, belt trailers, or end dumps. $23.00/hr or Percentage Pay. This is a GREAT opportunity to be out on the open road and still qualify for our health insurance, retirement plan and paid vacation. Truck Driver
Long Haul Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and delivery trucks.
- Load and unload materials or equipment onto the truck using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery of goods or materials.
- ELD experience is a plus.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes to assist with loading and unloading as needed.
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
