Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate and drive semi truck.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
  • Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 4 years.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
  • Ability to operate semi truck safely and efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Physical stamina and strength to operate semi truck.
  • Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers and team members effectively.
