Class B Driver

Job Title:

Class B Driver Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Class B Driver to join our team and drive locally throughout the greater Rockford, IL area. This position involves operating a truck and 22ft.-24ft. trailer (automatic) to deliver and pick up materials. The role is based on the 1st shift, operating Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. 4 hours a day are dedicated to driving and the other hours of the shift can be dedicated to help out in areas such as material handling, and/or running machinery such as a saw. Must have a good driving record over the past 5 years and a Class B CDL to be considered for the opportunity. Applicants that live in the area and want to be home every day and not over the road are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Drive a truck and 22ft.-24ft. trailer to deliver and pick up materials. Load and unload trucks. Operate a sit-down forklift. Assist with material handling and running the saw, if needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Class B CDL. Forklift operating experience. Experience in loading and unloading trucks. Clean driving record over the past 5 years. Additional Skills & Qualifications Attention to detail. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rockford, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
