Job Description

C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation is seeking dedicated and safety-minded individuals to join our transportation team in Shelby County. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing reliable transportation services to community members. No prior driving experience is required, as the agency provides all necessary training and support.
What We Offer:
Full-time drivers earn $18.28 per hour and receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance; vacation and flex leave; paid sick leave and holidays; life insurance; and participation in a 403(b) retirement plan. •There is a .50 cent an hour raise after CDL is obtained• Benefits for part-time drivers include vacation, flex and sick leave, life insurance, paid holidays, and participation in a 403(b) retirement plan. For individuals seeking flexibility , the Substitute Driver role allows you to choose which assignments you accept, requiring only three days of availability per month—ideal for those wanting supplemental income or adaptable scheduling.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and hold a valid Class D driver's license. Applicants must also be willing to obtain a CDL, with all training and licensing support provided by the agency.
