Bridgeview, Illinois About the Position TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Local Delivery Driver. This role involves delivering construction and insulation materials, safely transporting rail containers, and providing professional customer service throughout the local route.

Pay & Schedule Pay:

$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Daily responsibilities may require 10-11 hours of work Job Details Route type: Local delivery

Handling:

Heavy-touch deliveries, drop and hook, and securing rail containers Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle. Complete local deliveries of construction and insulation materials. Perform drop-and-hook operations and safely secure and transport rail containers. Ensure safe, timely, and incident-free transportation. Maintain open communication with dispatch. Provide positive, safe, and professional customer experiences. Build and maintain strong communication and rapport with customers. Minimum Requirements Valid, current CDL A. 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Some experience with intermodal containers. High school diploma or GED. Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years. Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
