Local CDL Class A Driver We are looking for a reliable Local CDL Class A Driver to join our team in South Elgin, Illinois . This is a full-time local/regional driving position with a 40-hour work week . This is not an OTR position. The driver will pick up local freight, bring it to our base, and complete assigned local/regional deliveries. Responsibilities Pick up freight within approximately a 30-mile radius Transport collected freight back to our South Elgin base Complete deliveries within approximately a 300-mile radius Follow assigned routes and dispatch instructions Ensure safe and timely transportation of freight Maintain communication with dispatch Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Follow DOT and company safety requirements Requirements Valid CDL Class A required Commercial truck driving experience preferred Safe driving record Reliable and punctual Ability to work 40 hours per week Ability to follow dispatch instructions and assigned schedules Compensation & Schedule $30.00 per hour 40 hours per week Full-time position Local/regional routes No long-haul OTR driving
