Job Description

Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking an Oil Sales and Service Rep I to grow used-oil collection and environmental service sales within an assigned territory. This role combines route-based customer service, inside/outside sales, and safe operation of company vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities include visiting industrial, automotive, and commercial customers; promoting oil recycling and related services; preparing quotes; maintaining service records; and ensuring DOT, OSHA, and environmental compliance. The Rep supports a safety-first, environmentally responsible culture while meeting sales targets and providing reliable, scheduled service. Responsibilities Grow used-oil and environmental service sales within assigned territory Provide route-based service to industrial, automotive, and commercial customers Promote oil recycling, waste management, and related Safety-Kleen solutions Prepare quotes, contracts, and service agreements Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and in compliance with DOT rules Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations and company policies Maintain accurate service, delivery, and sales records in required systems Identify new business opportunities and upsell existing accounts Collaborate with operations, logistics, and customer service teams Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills Route sales and territory management Customer relationship management Basic industrial/automotive service knowledge Safe vehicle and equipment operation Knowledge of environmental and waste-handling practices Regulatory compliance (DOT/OSHA) Recordkeeping and basic data entry Upselling and cross-selling Time management and route planning Basic math and quoting/pricing skills
