Responsibilities Safely operate tractor and dryvan trailers, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Communicate constantly in English with customer updating status of loads via text, call and or emails Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency and route planning Transport automobile parts or other freight over long distances with precision, maintaining the integrity of the cargo throughout transit Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards; perform routine maintenance checks on trucks with manual transmissions or specialized equipment Document all deliveries accurately, including load & unload records, delivery receipts, and incident reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements Take truck to wash or maintenance shop for PM's Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record 2 years verifiable experience Proficient in English language Live with in 30 miles of Willow Springs IL Must have smart phone capable of scanning
