Job Description

TransForce Inc. seeks a safety focused CDL A Roll Off Driver to support local transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you will safely operate CDL A roll off trucks to transport containers, debris, and materials between customer sites, transfer stations, and facilities. Responsibilities include performing pre and post trip inspections, securing and tarping loads, complying with DOT and company safety standards, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation and logs. This position requires strong attention to safety, reliable attendance, customer service skills, and professionalism when interacting with dispatchers, customers, and yard personnel. Responsibilities Operate CDL A roll-off trucks to haul containers, debris, and materials between customer sites and facilities Perform required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly Secure, tarp, and verify loads to ensure safe, compliant transport Follow all DOT, local, and company safety regulations and procedures Maintain accurate logs, delivery tickets, and related documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and yard staff regarding schedules and job details Navigate local routes efficiently while meeting on-time delivery and pickup expectations Keep equipment clean and in good working order, reporting maintenance needs Adhere to company policies supporting a safety-focused, professional culture Required Skills CDL A truck driving Roll-off truck operation DOT regulations compliance Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Electronic/logbook recordkeeping Safe loading and unloading Time management and routing Defensive driving Customer service Basic equipment troubleshooting
