Willow Creek Environmental Services is Northeast Indiana's trusted environmental services partner, specializing in remediation, underground fuel tank removal, industrial waste management, vacuum truck services, and rapid emergency response. The CDL Driver safely transports materials, waste, supplies, and company equipment to and from project sites, disposal facilities, customer locations, and other designated destinations. The role is focused on professional commercial driving, transportation safety, DOT/FMCSA compliance, load securement, vehicle inspection, and accurate transportation documentation. The CDL Driver works closely with field crews and project managers and may support environmental and emergency-response projects through vehicle staging, transportation documentation, and non-equipment field tasks. Commercial Driving & Transportation Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial motor vehicles, including straight trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker vehicles, and tractor-trailer combinations, consistent with applicable license class, endorsements, training, and authorization. Transport materials, waste, supplies, tools, and company-owned equipment to and from job sites, customer locations, transfer or disposal facilities, and other assigned destinations. Plan and follow safe, efficient routes while observing roadway restrictions, weight limits, site access requirements, traffic conditions, and weather conditions. Safely couple and uncouple trailers, when applicable, and verify all air, electrical, locking, and landing gear connections before movement. Properly distribute, contain, cover, and secure loads in accordance with applicable requirements and inspect cargo securement as required during transit. Safely back, park, stage, and position commercial vehicles at job sites, using spotters and established site procedures when appropriate.

& Safety Compliance Perform and document required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and immediately report defects or unsafe conditions. Comply with all applicable DOT, FMCSA, state, local, customer, and company requirements governing the operation of commercial motor vehicles. Maintain accurate hours-of-service records and properly use electronic logging devices when required. Follow applicable hazardous materials and hazardous waste transportation requirements, including placarding, shipping documentation, security, and emergency-response procedures. Operate vehicles in accordance with company safe-driving expectations, including seat belt requirements and prohibitions against texting or handheld mobile-device use while driving. Immediately report accidents, citations, roadside inspections, spills, cargo incidents, vehicle damage, or other transportation-related events. Follow applicable site-specific safety plans, PPE requirements, traffic-control procedures, and customer safety rules. Vehicle Care & Documentation Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, orderly, professional, and ready-to-work condition. Monitor vehicle condition, including tires, brakes, lights, fluids, fuel, and required safety equipment, and promptly report maintenance or repair needs. Maintain required driver and transportation records, including mileage, fuel, work orders, delivery tickets, disposal documentation, and other assigned records. Ensure required licenses, DOT medical certification, vehicle registration, permits, emergency equipment, and other required documents are current and available. Coordinate with management regarding preventive maintenance, required inspections, repairs, and vehicle availability. Project & Team Support Coordinate with project managers and field crews regarding transportation schedules, job-site access, staging, disposal locations, and delivery requirements. Communicate professionally with customers, disposal facilities, subcontractors, inspectors, and other parties encountered during assigned work. Assist with non-equipment field activities such as setting cones or barriers, securing work areas, handling materials, housekeeping, and other support tasks within the employee's training and physical capabilities. Participate in emergency-response and after-hours callouts, including nights and weekends, as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the employee's training, licensing, qualifications, and authorization. Required Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B CDL appropriate for assigned vehicles, with a driving record acceptable to Willow Creek Environmental Services and its insurer. Dependability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. Preferred Qualifications Tanker and/or Hazardous Materials endorsement, or willingness and eligibility to obtain as business needs require. Experience transporting industrial waste, environmental materials, roll-off containers, tankers, or similar commercial loads. Experience in environmental contracting, industrial services, construction, waste management, or emergency response. OSHA 40-Hour

certification, or willingness to obtain. Familiarity with ELDs, DOT roadside inspections, hazardous materials documentation, and waste manifests.

Yes. Local and regional travel is required, with some overnight travel possible. Physical Demands Frequently enter and exit commercial vehicles, including climbing steps and maintaining three points of contact. Sit and drive for extended periods and remain alert during variable driving and work schedules. Lift, carry, push, pull, and handle materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, with assistance or appropriate material-handling methods for heavier items. Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and walk on uneven surfaces. Wear required PPE, which may include safety glasses, gloves, hard hat, high-visibility clothing, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and respiratory protection when properly trained and medically qualified. Working Conditions Work is primarily performed in commercial motor vehicles and at industrial, agricultural, fuel storage, construction, environmental, disposal, and customer sites. Driving and field work may occur in heat, cold, rain, snow, mud, traffic, low-light conditions, and other variable environments. The position may involve exposure to active job sites, movingvehicles, hazardous or regulated materials, and other typical transportation and environmental-service hazards.
