Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Apprentice Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery to work within 30 miles of the distribution warehouse in Frankfort, IN. Compensation - Average Annual Salary is $85,000-$100,000 per year which includes: Activity-based pay (miles, stops, case unload, etc.) Tenured drivers are making $130,000 plus. TRAINING

Two-week in-office paid orientation training. Followed with 10-12 weeks of on the job driving/delivery training. Responsibilities Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to warehouses and end-users Drive CDL A day cabs with 53' trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations Secure pallets using straps and/or bars. Load securement at every stop. Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance Provide excellent customer service Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers Requirements Valid CDL A permit or license required, issued by state of residency. No CDL driving experience necessary.

Prior route delivery experience highly preferred, including local, multiple-stop delivery using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors Legally eligible to work in the U.S. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical Be able to lift, push, pull 15-20 pounds with no assistance
