3007324717-2 Apply for this job now Job Description GFL Environmental is hiring a Front End Driver to safely operate front-end load trucks for commercial waste collection. In this essential, full-time role, you'll run assigned routes, pick up and empty containers, and complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections. You'll interact professionally with customers, follow DOT and company safety standards, and accurately complete required paperwork and electronic logs. Responsibilities Operate front-end load trucks to collect commercial waste on assigned routes Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Safely load, lift, and empty containers following company procedures Comply with DOT, safety, and environmental regulations at all times Complete required logs, tickets, and route documentation accurately Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch regarding service issues Follow route plans and adjust as needed to maintain schedule efficiency Participate in safety meetings and training programs Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle Report incidents, accidents, or equipment defects promptly Required Skills Commercial truck driving Front-end loader truck operation DOT regulations compliance Vehicle inspection and maintenance Route navigation and optimization Safe loading and unloading Hydraulic systems operation Recordkeeping and logbooks Customer service Basic mechanical troubleshooting
