Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves commercial truck driving with a focus on manual transmission vehicles. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions to transport goods and materials efficiently and safely. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of items. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities. Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs. Assist with seasonal agricultural work as required, which may include transporting produce or equipment within farming operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules and delivery details. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle reliability. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating trucks with manual transmissions is required. Prior experience in commercial truck driving preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and seasonal agricultural work. Strong attention to safety procedures and traffic regulations. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Flexibility to work seasonal hours with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment based on performance.
