Class A CDL Over the road driver

Company Description $10,000 Sign-On Bonus ($5,000 after 90 days employed and $5,000 after 12 months employed). Employee's Medical Insurance premium is paid 100% by Company. In addition, we pay a discretionary year end bonus. (On average, over the prior 3 years, our drivers were paid an annual year end profit based bonus of approximately $5,000). Home Guard Industries (HGI), a manufacturer of residential windows and door products, is looking for a Class A CDL truck driver for the northeast territory. Role Description We are seeking a full-time Class A CDL Over the Road (OTR) Truck Driver to join the team at Home Guard Industries. Based out of Grabill, IN, this role involves operating Class A vehicles to transport materials and products efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include adhering to DOT regulations, planning optimal routes, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining clear communication with the transportation team. You will play an essential role in ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding the company's commitment to dependable service. A typical week involves leaving early Monday and returning Friday. Driving from Grabill, IN, and making stops throughout the route to Massachusetts, down through New York to Virginia, and on the way back to Indiana. Qualifications Possess a valid CDL Class A license and a strong track record of safe truck driving experience. Knowledge of DOT regulations to ensure compliance and lawful transportation practices. Experience with loading, unloading, and the safe handling of cargo. Ability to operate trucks efficiently and ensure their regular upkeep. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate route management and delivery schedules. Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with on-site staff and dispatch personnel. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance is a plus.
