CDL A GRAIN TRUCK DRIVER
Greensburg Soy Processors (GSP) Greensburg, Indiana
POSITION SUMMARY
Greensburg Soy Processors is seeking a dependable CDL A Grain Truck Driver to haul grain on daily routes between Greensburg and local destinations, including Kentucky and Ohio. This is a Monday-Friday position with assigned equipment, no-touch freight, and per-trip pay.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Truck grain daily, Monday through Friday, on scheduled daily runs.
  • Complete daily runs as scheduled and arrive prepared for assigned routes.
  • When hauling to Kentucky, leave Greensburg approximately 3:45-4:00 a.m.
  • When hauling locally, leave Greensburg approximately 5:30-6:00 a.m.
  • Maintain accurate daily records and required paperwork.
  • Keep assigned truck and trailer clean and in good working condition.
  • Represent GSP professionally and maintain a positive, courteous attitude with customers.
  • Follow all applicable company safety procedures and commercial driving requirements.
  • Attend Safety Training meetings twice a year.
  • Follow all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines and regulations.
  • Customer Appreciation Day attendance is mandatory
SCHEDULE & PAY
  • Primary schedule: Monday-Friday.
  • Very rare Saturday runs, approximately 4:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., paid at time and a half.
  • Some holidays may be worked at double time.
  • Paid time when the truck breaks down.
  • Paid time when unloading takes longer than 45 minutes.
  • No electronic logging required.
  • Weekly schedules are handed out on Friday for the following week.
  • Pay is based on a per-trip rate.
TRUCKING & FREIGHT
  • No-touch freight — driver is not responsible for loading or unloading the grain.
  • Assigned truck and trailer.
  • Routes include local hauling and Greensburg-to-Kentucky/Ohio runs.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid CDL Class A license required.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to safely operate and care for assigned equipment.
  • Professional customer service and a good attitude.
