Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled light duty Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional roadside assistance and vehicle towing services to our customers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various towing situations with professionalism and care. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles to designated locations. Perform load and unload procedures for vehicles, ensuring proper securing techniques are used. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and addressing their needs promptly. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure they are in good working condition. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs or adjustments on vehicles as needed. Maintain accurate records of towing activities, including vehicle information and customer details. Manage conflicts professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging situations. Collaborate with dispatchers to respond quickly to calls for assistance. Experience 1 year proven experience in driving tow trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and diagnostics is highly desirable. Previous experience in customer service roles, particularly in high-pressure environments, is a plus. Familiarity with forklift operation is an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to effectively manage conflicts and provide solutions in stressful situations. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or class C is required for this position.
