Position:

Driver Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana's largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.

Position Purpose:

To provide safe, timely, and reliable transportation to regional clients. The Driver has regular contact with the Supervisor, Transportation, to receive work assignments and discuss any unusual problems or concerns regarding clients or the transportation function. The incumbent also interacts daily with clients, routinely with staff of other programs or departments to arrange transportation for their clients.

Essential Function:

Transport clients to and from the Center Program, safely and on time Documentation

•mileage records for billing purposes, completion of Medicaid documentation Provide emergency interventions to stop or limit the escalation of psychiatric symptoms or interpersonal conflicts. Assist in orienting clients to transportation policies and procedures. Record and process all records of vehicle maintenance as required for FTA minimum maintenance compliance Ethical/Legal Issues

High School Diploma or equivalent Valid/Clean Driver's License for-hire endorsement required

•This can be obtained within the first 90 days in the role. Experience
