Waste Connections is seeking a safety-focused Roll Off Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team in the waste management industry. In this role, you'll safely operate roll-off trucks to haul containers between customer sites, transfer stations, and landfills while following DOT, company, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities Operate roll-off trucks to safely transport open-top and compacted containers between customer sites, transfer stations, and landfills Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, complete required DOT and company documentation, and report maintenance issues promptly Follow all safety, environmental, and traffic regulations while operating in residential, commercial, and industrial environments Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely, accurate service and route completion Secure, load, and unload containers, ensuring proper placement, weight distribution, and compliance with site and company procedures Maintain clean, safe equipment and work practices, supporting Waste Connections' safety-first and environmental stewardship culture Required Skills CDL truck operation (Class A or B) Roll-off container handling Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Knowledge of DOT and HOS regulations Defensive driving and safe operation Paperwork and electronic log completion Route navigation and time management Customer service communication Waste handling and environmental compliance Equipment loading, securement, and backing skills
