Seasonal CDL-A Corn Harvest Driver - Plymouth, IN Atlantic Pacific Inc. is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for our 2026 corn harvest assignment . Atlantic Pacific has been operating since 2017 and this will be our 4th consecutive year partnering with Corteva for the harvest season.
Assignment Details Expected season:
September 10 through October 30, 2026 Start/end dates may vary by several days depending on weather, crop readiness and customer operations Harvest operations run 7 days per week Full-season commitment is required Primary route: Plymouth, IN ↔ Worthington, IN Approximately 400 roundtrip miles Drivers should be prepared for approximately one completed roundtrip per scheduled workday , subject to legal HOS and customer operations Operational needs may occasionally require assignment to Constantine, MI ↔ St. Joseph, IL Pay $1.00 per approved mile - loaded and empty Approximately $400 gross per completed Plymouth roundtrip Estimated weekly gross of approximately $2,400-$2,800 under normal operating conditions $200 qualifying minimum/layover on applicable days when work or delivery cannot be completed for reasons outside the driver's control, such as weather, crop readiness, harvesting-equipment breakdowns or plant delays $0.50/mile for approved initial and final trailer repositioning movements Weekly statements Wednesday; payment initiated Thursday Actual miles and earnings are not guaranteed and depend on dispatch, weather, crop readiness, customer operations and lawful Hours of Service. Equipment & Operations 2023 or newer automatic sleeper tractor Aulick belt trailers Company fuel card Trailers are picked up and returned in Mediapolis, IA Drivers sleep in the sleeper tractor during the assignment Up to $500 approved travel reimbursement for eligible out-of-area hires Orientation and truck pickup take place at our headquarters in Waukegan, IL , approximately one day before the assignment begins Requirements Valid Class A CDL Strong verifiable tractor-trailer experience; 5+ years preferred Acceptable MVR/PSP and prior-employment history FMCSA Clearinghouse eligibility and required DOT pre-employment qualification procedures Full-season availability Ability to comply with strict customer-site PPE and safety requirements Smartphone required for QR-code field locations, training materials and submission of BOLs/slips by text and email Professional communication, punctuality and respectful conduct Previous corn-harvest, agricultural hauling, belt-trailer, walking-floor or live-floor experience is a plus. W-2 or 1099 options may be available. Owner-operators are also welcome to contact us for separate rates and details.
