Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments and be proficient in operating a dually truck pulling a 3-axle gooseneck trailer. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Responsibilities Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation laws. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with shipping supervisor Utilize forklifts as necessary for loading and unloading materials at various locations. Follow all company policies regarding safety, equipment maintenance, and customer service. Skills Strong understanding of route driving techniques and freight handling procedures. Ability to load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic regulations. Capability to perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy. Previous delivery driver experience is preferred but not mandatory.
