Job Description

As a Regional CDL-A Truck Driver on a dedicated Georgia-Pacific account, you haul no-touch freight from Southern California to customer locations across seven Western states. You safely operate late-model automatic tractors with 53' trailers, handle a mix of live unload and drop-and-hook, follow DOT regulations, manage logs and trip paperwork, and care for equipment. Home time is typically two full days off every 10-14 days, with parking options at the Colton yard or another secure location when allowed. Responsibilities Safely operate an automatic-transmission Class A tractor with 53' trailer on regional routes across seven Western states. Transport no-touch freight for a dedicated Georgia-Pacific account, handling a mix of live unload and drop-and-hook. Complete accurate logs and trip paperwork in compliance with DOT hours-of-service and company policies. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical or safety issues promptly. Plan routes and manage time to meet delivery windows while driving defensively and adapting to road conditions. Follow all federal, state, and local regulations as well as company safety procedures during every trip. Coordinate with dispatch, store personnel, and plant staff to support efficient loading, unloading, and turnaround times. Secure truck parking at the Colton yard or an approved safe location when off duty, as allowed by company policy.
