Job Description
Job Overview Grace Village Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and energetic Activities Team Member / Driver to join our team. This position is an active member of the Activities Department and participates in the same daily responsibilities as other Activities Team Members, while serving as the department's primary driver for resident outings, appointments, and community events. The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults, creating meaningful experiences, and providing safe transportation that helps residents stay engaged and connected with their community. Transportation Responsibilities Serve as the primary driver for resident outings, appointments, shopping trips, and special events. Safely transport residents using Grace Village vehicles. Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles safely. Accompany resident outings and provide support as needed. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Coordinate transportation schedules with the Activities Department. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and community transportation policies. Essential Responsibilities Plan, organize, and facilitate resident activities and events. Encourage resident participation in group and individual programs. Assist with games, crafts, music, educational programs, social gatherings, and holiday celebrations. Support community events, special programs, and resident engagement opportunities. Assist with activity setup, cleanup, and documentation. Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to serve older adults. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Dependable, organized, and team-oriented. Ability to lead and participate in resident activities. Experience in recreation, customer service, transportation, senior living, or healthcare is preferred but not required. Benefits 401(k) 401(k)
