We are seeking a dependable and experienced Shuttle Driver/Yard Spotter to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers between designated locations while helping keep daily operations running smoothly and on schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, comfortable operating tractor-trailers, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

MONDAY 5AM

•4PM (Carthage Shuttle)

TUESDAY 6AM

•5PM (Yard)

WEDNESDAY 4AM

•3PM (Yard)

THURSDAY

(OFF)

FRIDAY 6AM

•5PM (Yard)

SATURDAY 8AM

•7PM (Frontenac Shuttle) with flexibility in hours as operational needs require. Qualifications Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required Previous experience as a shuttle driver, yard driver, truck driver, or similar role preferred Experience operating tractor-trailers and moving trailers safely and efficiently Manual transmission experience is a plus Ability to safely back, spot, hook, and unhook trailers Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with drivers, customers, and team members Dependable attendance and ability to work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment Previous warehouse, route driving, or heavy equipment experience is a plus Responsibilities Safely shuttle and position trailers as assigned Hook and unhook trailers as needed Perform basic pre-trip and equipment inspections Communicate trailer locations, equipment issues, and operational needs to the appropriate team members Follow all company safety procedures and customer/site requirements Maintain a professional and dependable presence while working with customers and other team members Assist with additional transportation or yard-related duties as needed If you are a dependable driver who takes pride in working safely, staying organized, and keeping operations moving, we encourage you to apply.
