Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
  • Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation.
Skills:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
  • Proven experience in route driving and operating heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to load, unload, and secure freight properly.
  • Familiarity with tanker operations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

Summary As a feed truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting grain safely and efficiently to various locations. With core skills in driving, commercial driving, and tractor-trailer operation, you will navigate routes, load and unload grain, and ensure timely deliveries. Your premium skills in handling manual transmission, refrigerated trailers, and tankers will be valuable in executing specialized transportation tasks. Relevant experience in delivery driving, forklift operation, and route driving will enhance your ability to meet the demands of the role.
