Job Description

Overview We are seeking reliable and skilled Commercial Truck Drivers to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of commercial driving experience and will be responsible for transporting freight (primarily consisting of milk and cream) safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to FMCSA regulations while ensuring timely deliveries. Drivers must have 2 years of CDL experience, with a tanker endorsement, along with a valid Medical Certificate and a clean MVR to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
Safe Transportation:
Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport products to designated locations, ensuring the well-being of the cargo throughout the journey. Adhere to speed limits, road regulations, and safe driving practices to prevent accidents. Consider factors such as weather, road conditions and traffic while operating the commercial vehicle. Additionally, drivers should maintain a current, valid commercial driver's license throughout their employment. Adherence to
Regulations:
Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) requirements, vehicle inspections, load securement, and other applicable rules. Regularly review and stay updated on any changes to relevant regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the equipment, promptly report any mechanical issues, and ensure the equipment is well-maintained and in compliance with company standards.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports, including logbooks, trip reports, fuel receipts, and any other required documents, in accordance with DOT and company policies.
Customer Service:
Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and other team members, representing the company in a positive manner and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Communication:
Maintain effective communication with dispatchers and supervisors, providing updates on delivery progress, potential delays, or any safety-related concerns. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a clean driving record. Tanker endorsement is required. Valid Medical Certificate is required. Familiarity with route driving and freight handling procedures - primarily with milk and cream products. Previous over the road experience and tanker experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. $1,750.00 - $2,500.00 per week
