About McPherson Concrete Companies Headquartered in McPherson, Kansas, McPherson Concrete Companies (MCC) include Wichita Concrete Pipe, Inc., McPherson Concrete Products, Inc., McPherson Concrete Storage Systems, Inc., and DFW Concrete Products. Together, we are a leading Midwest provider of concrete pipe, precast products, storage systems, and ready-mix concrete. McPherson Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Ready Mix / Delivery Driver to join our team in McPherson, KS. This position will primarily operate as a Ready Mix Driver, with the flexibility to support our Products division by making CDL Class A deliveries of concrete products such as pipe, box sections, inlets, tops, elliptical pipe, and other precast products as business needs require. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles and transport ready-mix concrete to designated job sites. Safely transport and deliver concrete products, including pipe, box sections, inlets, tops, elliptical pipe, and other precast products, as assigned. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment. Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery instructions and assignments. Verify ready-mix load slump and adjust as necessary. Operate truck levers and equipment to unload concrete according to customer specifications. Attach and clean chute extensions (50+ lbs). Properly secure and inspect loads when transporting concrete products. Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery of products as required. Maintain cleanliness of trucks, equipment, and work areas. Provide professional customer service and assist customers with questions regarding deliveries. Maintain required driver logs and records in accordance with DOT and company requirements. Perform minor truck maintenance as needed. Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and applicable federal and state requirements. Perform other duties as assigned to support Ready Mix and Products operations. Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with required endorsements and a safe driving record. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and meet all applicable DOT requirements. Must be able to pass a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) federal background check to access secure sites such as the CHS refinery. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to safely operate both Ready Mix and Class A delivery vehicles as assigned. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to perform a variety of driving and delivery duties based on company needs.
