Job Description

LeFebvre & Sons seeks a Dedicated CDL A Truck Driver to haul heavy-haul, oversize, and overweight loads across regional and national routes. You'll operate modern, well-maintained equipment, perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure loads are properly secured and compliant with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. As part of a family-owned, safety-focused team, you'll enjoy steady, honest work, open communication, and support from experienced staff. Responsibilities include safe driving, accurate logs, professional customer interactions, and strict adherence to safety standards while representing the company on the road. Responsibilities Operate CDL A truck for regional and national heavy-haul routes Safely transport oversize and overweight loads following all regulations Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine equipment checks Secure and tarp specialized loads using proper safety procedures Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and electronic records Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and team members Follow all DOT, company, and safety policies at all times Provide professional, courteous service at delivery and pickup sites Report maintenance needs and equipment issues promptly Participate in ongoing safety and operational training Required Skills CDL Class A truck operation Heavy-haul and oversize load handling Load securement and tarping DOT and FMCSA compliance Trip planning and route management Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Electronic logging devices (ELDs) Defensive and safe driving techniques Communication with dispatch and customers Time management and schedule adherence
