This position is approximately 15-30 hours per week and is primarily on-call , with drivers contacted as vehicle transportation needs arise. This is a flexible opportunity for individuals who have availability during the week and are comfortable receiving driving assignments on an as-needed basis. The majority of assignments will involve safely transporting vehicles between dealership locations throughout the Kansas City Metro area . Drivers may also occasionally be asked to complete out-of-state runs , with destinations generally within approximately 4-5 hours of the Kansas City area . Some longer-distance assignments may result in workdays of up to approximately 10 hours , depending on the destination and assignment. Responsibilities Remain available on an on-call, as-needed basis for driving assignments. Report to the Lead Driver for daily or upcoming assignments. Safely transport vehicles between dealership locations throughout the Kansas City Metro area. Occasionally transport vehicles to out-of-state locations. Complete longer-distance runs that may require approximately 4-5 hours of driving each way. Follow all applicable traffic laws and company safety procedures. Complete vehicle transfers in a timely and professional manner. Perform basic vehicle condition checks before and after each transfer. Communicate promptly with the Lead Driver regarding assignments, delays, or any issues that arise. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with dealerships, customers, and employees. Schedule & Compensation Approximately 15-30 hours per week , depending on available assignments.

On-call position:

Work is based on vehicle transportation needs and driver availability. Drivers will receive assignments from the Lead Driver as runs become available. Most assignments will be within the Kansas City Metro area. Occasional out-of-state runs may be available or required. Longer-distance assignments may occasionally result in workdays of up to approximately 10 hours .
