Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate various types of dump trucks to transport materials efficiently and securely, adhering to all federal and state regulations. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards on the road and at job sites. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks safely across over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate delivery routes and timely arrivals Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with trucking laws Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections of trucks for safety issues, including checking load security and vehicle condition before departure and after arrival Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or safety concerns Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on truck loading and unloading procedures Familiarity with route driving across OTR routes and logistics cargo handling Knowledge of truck driving regulations including FMCSA and DOT. Ability to manually handle freight safely and efficiently in various environments Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Join our team to drive your career forward!
