Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an energetic environment where your driving skills and commitment to excellence will drive success every day. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling Deliver goods to various locations, managing route driving with precision and efficiency to meet delivery schedules Inspect trucks before and after trips to ensure mechanical soundness, report any issues promptly, and perform basic maintenance as needed Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and hours of service in compliance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, and any unforeseen issues during transit Assist in handling specialized freight such as refrigerated items or oversized loads like flatbeds or tanker shipments when required Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions Proven truck driving experience, including route driving and delivery of freight in various truck types (flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer) Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment; experience with roll-off trucks or dump trucks is a plus Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving operations Strong physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform load securement tasks Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers Flexibility to adapt to different freight types such as refrigerated goods or oversized loads Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact! Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
