Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded CDL Driver to join our team in Glasgow, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering building materials locally to our customer job sites and retail locations. Paid holidays and vacation time to rest and recharge. [1] Key Responsibilities Safely operate and maneuver commercial delivery trucks to transport blocks, brick, and other masonry items. Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and DOT compliance. Assist with loading and unloading building materials using forklifts, moffetts, or manual lifting as required. Secure all flatbed or truck loads properly using straps or chains before transport. Provide friendly and professional customer service at job delivery sites. Maintain clear and accurate driving logs, delivery receipts, and inspection paperwork. [1] Qualifications & Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR). Up-to-date DOT Medical Card. Experience operating commercial delivery vehicles (experience with flatbeds, boom trucks, or moffetts is a plus). Ability to pass a mandatory DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check. Physical ability to climb in/out of trucks and handle heavy building materials as needed. Strong commitment to safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
