Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to transport freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our logistics operations, delivering excellence every mile of the way. Responsibilities Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across multiple locations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Drive safely and responsibly on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, report any maintenance issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Manage documentation such as delivery manifests, load sheets, and logs accurately for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the truck to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on freight transportation, including route driving and delivery driver roles. Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks and various specialized vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods in warehouse or yard settings. Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo handling. Prior experience with truck driving certifications relevant to the type of vehicle operated is preferred. Ability to demonstrate excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
