Are you an experienced Class A CDL driver who likes variety, hates getting stuck on the exact same boring route every day, but still wants to sleep in your own bed every single day? Bluegrass Trucking is looking for a dependable Class A CDL Fleet Utility / Relief Driver to join our team. In this pivotal "flex" role, you won't be tied to a single dedicated lane. Instead, you'll support our daily operations by stepping into various local routes, runs, or terminal dispatches as needed—and you are guaranteed to be home daily . If you like mixing things up, want to master different routes of our operation, and want a stable position with a family-owned company; this is the role for you.

What You'll Do:

Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently pulling dry van trailers. Handle a dynamic mix of local, dedicated and regional runs based on fleet demands—with guaranteed home daily time. Cover open runs, peak volume spikes, and scheduled driver time-off. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain our high equipment standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers while adapting smoothly to changing daily schedules. How the Pay Works (Flexible Daily Rate):

Because this is a multi-route flex position, your daily pay rate is determined by the specific run or assignment you complete each day.

Requirements:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Proven experience pulling dry van trailers.
