Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. In this energetic role, you will operate box trucks ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and transportation regulations. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and vehicle operation will be vital in maintaining our reputation for reliable service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about driving and delivering excellence, this is the opportunity for you! 1-3 years of experience operating 26ft Box Truck Duties Safely operate box trucks to transport freight over-the-road (OTR) routes Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or equipment such as pallet jacks ensuring proper weight distribution and securement Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing travel time Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling procedures Deliver freight to designated locations, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling of dangerous goods or hazardous materials when applicable Maintain vehicle safety by conducting pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and reporting any issues promptly Follow all truck loading and unloading protocols to ensure cargo integrity and safety during transit 1-3 years of experience operating 26ft Box Truck Requirements Valid Driver's license for the type of vehicle operated Proven experience in box truck, commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or similar roles involving route driving and freight handling Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Experience operating 26ft Box Truck Ability to navigate using GPS navigation systems accurately across various routes including OTR routes Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including dangerous goods or hazardous materials when required Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance and adherence to DOT hours-of-service regulations Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment; capable of lifting heavy items safely 1-3 years of experience operating 26ft Box Truck Join us in delivering essential goods with energy and precision!
