Responsibilities Safely operate 26 foot box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts , ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Manage route driving efficiently by planning deliveries and maintaining timely schedules. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock organization, and preparing shipments for delivery. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety compliance and report any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in warehouse and Forklift operations, including loading/unloading cargo and inventory management. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with box trucks. Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure safe transportation practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Physical stamina for long periods of driving and manual labor involved in warehouse activities.
