: Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Route Driver CDL for direct hires on the 2nd shift in Shelbyville, KY. This role involves operating a company truck to pick up and deliver hospital linen to multiple medical facilities, ensuring timely and professional service. Responsibilities include loading and unloading laundry carts, establishing professional relationships with customers, and representing the company in appearance, conduct, and performance. Safe operation of company vehicles, including pre and post-route inspections, and maintaining DOT compliance are essential.
Essential Duties

Follow directions from supervisors or managers.

Deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
Be willing to work beyond scheduled hours if needed.
Properly maintain required daily and weekly paperwork.
Perform daily visual inspections of equipment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Additional Responsibilities
Cross-train on other routes as needed.
Transport equipment to service providers for repairs and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements
Ability to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day.
Capability to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels).
Consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling.
Valid Class driver's license.
Adhere to all DOT, state, and local regulations.
Maintain a clean driving record per company policy.
One year of experience required.
Availability to drive nights and weekends.
Ability to speak and read the English language.
Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead.
Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for up to 10 hours per day.
Capability to use repetitive arm motions.
