Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible responsible for safely operating a pickup truck to support construction site operations. This role involves transporting materials, tools, and personnel while maintaining compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a pickup truck on active construction sites in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and company policies. Transport tools, materials, and personnel to and from job sites as assigned. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions. Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and material deliveries. Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary. Communicate effectively with site supervisors, dispatch, and site personnel. Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks on job sites and equipment as needed around the construction site

Qualifications:

Valid CDL license with a clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of experience operating in a construction or similar environment. Knowledge of DOT and Texas state regulations regarding commercial vehicle operation. Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions. Experience hauling aggregates, dirt, or construction materials is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely operate a pickup truck on active construction sites in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations. Ability to sit for extended periods and frequently enter/exit the vehicle. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and walk on uneven terrain. Ability to see, hear, and respond to traffic, equipment, alarms, and verbal instructions. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, high-visibility vest, gloves, and safety footwear.
