Approximately $200+ per day, with the opportunity to earn $1,300+ per week depending on the number of stops completed About the Position We are hiring reliable and motivated Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers (1099) to deliver packages in the Lafayette, Louisiana area. This is a last-mile delivery position , where drivers pick up packages from the warehouse and deliver them directly to customers' homes. Deliveries are generally straightforward, with packages being left at the customer's front door according to delivery instructions. We work with GOFO Express to provide package delivery services. Daily Responsibilities Arrive at the warehouse at approximately 5:30 AM . Check in and scan your assigned packages. Sort and organize packages according to your assigned route. Number and organize packages to make the delivery process easier and more efficient. Load your vehicle and leave the warehouse once your route is ready. Deliver packages safely and efficiently to customers' homes. Follow delivery instructions and company procedures. Take required delivery confirmation photos when applicable. Maintain professional and reliable communication throughout the route. Compensation $1.65 per delivery stop. +$0.40 for each additional package delivered to the same address. Approximately $200+ per day based on typical route volume. Opportunity to earn $1,300+ per week by completing additional stops and maximizing route volume. Weekly payments. Your actual earnings will depend on the number of packages/stops assigned and successfully completed. Requirements Must have a reliable personal vehicle. Valid driver's license. Valid auto insurance. Ability to work independently and manage your delivery route efficiently. Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse. Good communication and organizational skills. Responsible, punctual, and dependable. Ability to safely lift and carry packages. Previous delivery experience is helpful but not required .
