Overview:
The goal of the CDL Instructor is to educate and train students to become professional CDL drivers. This position is specifically for a Night CDL Instructor, supporting students during outside traditional daytime hours. This position is ideal for individuals who prefer a structured evening schedule while making a direct impact in a hands-on training environment Schedule (Part-Time
- 20 Hours): Monday
Thursday:
5:30 PM- 10:30 PM (5-hour evening shifts)
Total:
20 hours per week Our ideal candidate: Professional, reliable, and time-conscious Self-motivated and team-oriented Strong communicator with classroom management skills Strong classroom and hands-on training skills Able to effectively teach CDL operation, safety, and regulations Comfortable working day classes consistently Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills Invested in student success, including follow-up and coaching
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent CDL Class A (Required) Current DOT Medical Card Minimum 3 years of Class A driving experience (Required) Reliable transportation Previous CDL instructor experience preferred (training provided if needed)
