Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. A strong understanding of route driving and experience with heavy lifting is essential. Ideal for Retired workers, but must meet the physical requirements. Duties Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Utilize warehouse experience to assist in inventory management as needed. Assist with moving items within the warehouse or delivery locations as required. Qualifications Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely. Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems.. Must possess a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
