Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Class A Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. As a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for operating tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and securely across various routes. Your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including flatbeds and low boys over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Be able to strap down material. No loading or unloading needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logs, and inspection reports in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transit Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with a Class A license Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Familiarity with flatbeds, low boys, and automobile transportation methods Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving practices on over-the-road routes Join us as a Class A Driver to play a crucial role in our logistics operations!
