Job Description
Overview Local dump truck driver positions available. Competitive pay. Steady Work Sulphur / Lake Charles area Duties Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials to designated locations. Follow designated routes, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on manual & automatic transmission trucks to maintain safety standards. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate routes and handle any issues that arise during transit. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, especially with dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Knowledge of manual transmission operation preferred. Familiarity with route driving, freight handling, and delivery procedures in a local setting. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking operations and vehicle maintenance. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
