Home Terminal:
60 Solferino Street Building D, Worcester, MA 01604
Equipment:
Well-maintained Western Star sleeper cab & 40' - 53' dry van (trailer)
Hours:
2 regional delivery trips per week, requiring 1 night in the sleeper berth with each round trip. No weekend work required. Benefits Paid weekly, via direct Deposit Health Insurance, company pays 50% of employees premium. Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Possess a valid CDL. Possess a valid DOT Medical Certificate, minimum of 1-year. Have a minimum of 2 years' CDL truck driving experience, and able to pass a road test. You must be able to safely and repeatedly lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs. Motor Vehicle Record and PSP must not have excessive safety violations. Experienced and physically able to operate hand trucks and manual pallet jacks. Must be customer service minded and professional. Must be hardworking, high energy, dependable, and a team player.
Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
Arrive at the terminal on time and ready to work. Follow the scheduled route for daily deliveries. Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner. Collect signature or payment, if necessary, upon arrival to the recipient client Document overages, shortages, and damages to the freight. Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures. Keep the vehicle organized and clean. Serve as a brand ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public; customer service is a large part of the driver's responsibilities. Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules. Utilize technology per company policy, including dual facing cameras.
Wage Range:
1250.00 - 1500.00 per week
