Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely towing, recovering, and transporting vehicles of all types, ensuring prompt and professional service for our customers. Your mechanical aptitude, driving expertise, and customer service skills will drive your success as you navigate busy streets and challenging situations with confidence. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely. Perform basic mechanical diagnostics and minor repairs to ensure tow trucks are in optimal condition for daily operations. Secure vehicles properly using cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct vehicle load & unload procedures with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, providing vehicle recovery towing and roadside support services. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and incident reports for accountability. Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers to coordinate timely service delivery. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Pay based on experience and work performance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform minor mechanical vehicle repairs and basic troubleshooting preferred. Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Excellent driving skills with experience operating flatbed and wrecker tow trucks. Ability to manage conflict professionally while maintaining a positive customer service attitude. Knowledge of vehicle mechanics relevant to truck drivers and car towing operations is a plus.
