Job Description

The Driver is responsible for picking up from vendors, inter-site load transfers, onsite yard moves and loading and unloading trucks in a timely and safe manner in accordance with Company procedure. Minimize delays and report any significant issues that may arise. Assist on shipping dock as needed. Completes special projects as assigned. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30PM
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for efficient pick up of supplies and equipment as needed. Assumes responsibility for performing driving and loading functions in compliance with Company safety regulations. Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective communication and coordination with management personnel, all departments, and vendors. Assumes other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Commercial Driver's License A with Hazmat endorsement
Required Knowledge:
Knowledge of the geographical area. Understanding of Company safety standards.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 1-2 years of driving/delivery experience.
Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal communication, and customer service skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to apply and adhere to safety standards. Safe driving skills. Ability to drive large delivery trucks. Ability to use forklift.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
