(THIS
IS A SEASONAL POSITION
  • AUG-NOV) Red's Best is hiring a dependable Delivery Driver/ Dock Worker to safely Unload boats at various Fishing Piers in the Cape ( Sandwich to P-Town) and load the product into the truck you are driving.
This role includes loading/unloading trucks, route delivery, warehouse assistance, and maintaining accurate paperwork on all fish unloaded/ received. Open to a flexible schedule working 5-6 days a week based on demand ( Hours of operation are generally 9am to Midnight we operate during the season
  • bluefin tuna days we work later hours where non bluefin tuna days the drivers generally done by 7pm ) Must be able to work Mon
  • Wed•Thursday to pickup bluefin tuna.
Then 2 additional days ( Sunday maybe required in Sept-Nov if we open up buying bluefin tuna that day of the week) Expect these 3 days to work 10-12 hr day. OT will be available for hardworkers
Responsibilities:
  • Pickup Fish on assigned routes
  • Pickup Bluefin tuna 3-4 days per week which require exception paperwork skills and knowledge of operation a boom on the rear of the truck, tail and head cuts at the office
  • Load/unload using electric pallet jack and forklift and electric Boom on the truck/dock.
  • Assist in warehouse operations including unloading boats the our fish pier and shoveling ice into vats for icing fish and and delivering ice to fisherman at various docks.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse during shift
  • Maintain organized delivery paperwork
  • Follow safety procedures and communicate with team
Requirements:
  • Experience driving 26ft reefer truck
  • Electric pallet jack and forklift experience (required)
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs consistently and drag upto 700lb bluefin tuna along the truck floor to load and unload.
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, walk, and drive for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record ( driving records will be checks
  • NO DUI
  • No more than 1 ticket within 3 years)

$23.00
  • $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0
