Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating dump trucks primarily for gas work, underground utilities, and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials such as sand, gravel, and asphalt to various job sites. In addition to driving, the role requires assisting the crew by getting out of the truck to help with on-site tasks as needed. This position offers an engaging work environment with opportunities to contribute directly to construction and utility projects. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials including sand, gravel, and asphalt to designated locations. Follow daily schedules by first loading materials in the morning and then delivering them to project sites. Assist the crew by getting out of the truck to help with various on-site tasks related to gas work, underground utilities, and construction activities. Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during operation and on-site activities. Conduct routine inspections of the dump truck before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and completed work as required. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating dump trucks. Proven experience operating dump trucks in construction or utility environments is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as getting out of the truck and assisting crew members on-site. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites. Reliable transportation and punctuality for early morning start times. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to safety, teamwork, and efficiency in a dynamic construction environment.

From $28.00 per hour
