Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, delivering goods efficiently, and on time ensuring all cargo is handled with care and precision. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will drive our success forward. Duties Safely operate box trucks that are equipped with auromatic /transmissions across designated routes, especially OTR routes Load and unload freight efficiently using proper manual handling techniques while adhering to safety standards Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidelines Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip, including inspection reports and incident logs Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for compliance with DOT regulations and truck loading standards Communicate proactively with dispatch to coordinate route adjustments or address delivery issues promptly Qualifications Proven experience in box truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation with a focus on box trucks Valid driver's license (non-CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations Experience operating refrigerated trailers or flatbed trucks is a plus Strong understanding of GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries Ability to manually handle cargo safely while adhering to logistics cargo handling procedures Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with all federal and state transportation laws Embark on a career that keeps you moving!
